Black Friday Hike 11-29-13
These are photos from 2 hikes done on the day after Thanksgiving on the Asbury Camp property. The first hike was 3.4 miles, and involved a bushwhack following two unnamed streams uphill. There was supposed to be a 40 foot waterfall on the one stream, and a hundred footer waterfall on the other. We never found the smaller waterfall, but did find the 100 foot one. The second hike was in an area right adjacent to the first one, starting at a small lake, and heading north and east to a small waterfall, a low flow stream dropping vertically off a small rock cliff. Room underneath for someone to squat down under the horizontal cliff and behind the falls. Jack has a great shot of all six of us, plus the two dogs in his photostream.Read More

One section....of the unnamed waterfall. Note Jack on the right for perspective. There was actually much more of the waterfall above the section showing here (curving around to the right), and another drop to the left off the rockface shown in the foreground.
