Hike from Raven Cliff Parking Lot to Burgess Road
These are photos from 2 different hikes of the same route ... a delightful bushwhack/hike on old forest roads in December of 2013, the first time on a super foggy day with Darrin, and then a week later done solo by me on a very sunny day. Elevation Profile of 1st hikeThis is the elevation profile of the hike done first, on the foggy day. Darrin and I did not go out to Raven Cliff's Ridgeline, but did spend about an hour looking for a waterfall that was supposed to be on one of the streams. You'll notice the section between mile 4.7 and mile 5.7, labeled as "Looking for 40 footer". Darrin and I left the old logging road at that point to explore the stream, but we were unable to find the waterfall. On this shot, the terrain of that one mile of looking doesn't look tough at all. Actually, it was all straight up and straight down some steep sections of hllside. See the next pic.
