The next waterfall was about 150 vertical feet higher on this creek. Bernie's directions said to just head back to the FS road, and pick up the old roadbed that goes up the ridge, along the west side of the creek, and then bushwhack down when that road splits.
We'd had such a tough bushwhack just to get to this first waterfall, we really didn't want to tackle all that back to the road, so we decided to just keep heading upstream.
Almost an hour later, we finally covered the 1/2 mile or so!! This photo shows one of the few open forest areas ... most of the trek was really tough bushwhacking!
