Uphill from the Palmetto Trail, on an unnamed tributary of Rachael Creek, is a waterfall that is made up of several cascades and slides down a long series of open rock face.
We climbed all the way up to the top of the waterfall, all the way up looking for a good vantage point from which to shoot. But between how steep the terrain was, and how slippery the several inches of leaves covering that steep terrain were, I never was able to get a good shot.
This is a handheld shot from near the base.
The next two photos are actually much better shots ... they were taken on a trek here in 2012.
